For repairs I quote after viewing the
instrument but here is a rough guideline for some standard jobs.
Refret £160 (includes full setup)
Full fret stone and recrown from £40 to 80 depending on size and profile of fret and how much levelling needed.
New Bone nut £35 / Saddle £30
Setup for Acoustic £40 plus strings. Includes, string change, fret buff, remedial fret work and fingerboard clean, general clean up, action check and adjust which may include a truss rod set and a nut/ saddle adjustment). A new saddle may be requred for intonation problems .I quote separately for all setups as each requires something different.
Setup for Electric £45 plus strings. Includes, string change, fret buff, remedial fret work and fingerboard clean, general clean up, action check and adjust which may include a truss rod set and a nut/ saddle adjustment for action and intonation. Also includes electronics check / clean and pickup balancing. |
